Alibaba’s research arm gets US regulator nod for AI cancer tool
Alibaba Group’s research arm, Damo Academy, has received “breakthrough device” designation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its AI-powered pancreatic cancer detection tool, Damo Panda.
This status allows for an expedited review and approval process.
