Despite having one of the longest marriages in Hollywood, Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee Furness kept their lives quite private. So, it came as an absolute shock when news broke that they were ending their marriage after 27 years together in September 2023.

In the announcement to People, they said that their “family has been and always will be our highest priority.” They added, “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
