SINGAPORE — All Housing and Development Board (HDB) towns will be ready for electric vehicles by 2025, with at least three charging points installed in these 2,000 car parks by then, Minister for Transport S Iswaran said in Parliament on Tuesday (March 8).
The Government previously aimed to have charging stations in the car parks of eight HDB towns by 2025.

These charging points will soon be abused as parking lots, owner can go sleep on the pretext his car is in charging mode for the next few hours or perhaps until the next day. So is it enough for just 3 charging points per carpark.

This is what i foresee in the future on 2025 or after.. There will be normal petrol-vehicles parking in EV car parking slot...blocking access.. Or there will be EV cars hogging the entire electric charging station area. Or some Electric stations will be damaged by others This is the 3 things that govt has to fully ensure and prevent from happening, I do agree 3 electric charging station in every carpark is not enough... And will not be enough... Actually petrol stations can increase their business by providing electric charging stations and a sheltered cafeteria for EV owners to dine while awaiting for their vehicles to fully charge
