The sonic terror threat level over at The View crescendoed to code-red status after the show's jovial theme music cut off cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin during a heated exchange about Wednesday's Republican presidential debate — and the former White House staffer became visibly annoyed by the move.

While the panel discussed what Griffin called a "dumpster fire" of a Fox News debate, the ex-Donald Trump communications team member appeared to grow impatient after being repeatedly interrupted by her fellow panelists as they discussed the introduction Nikki Haley reportedly offered for Vivek Ramaswamy's book, LGBTQIA+ rights, and gun legislation.

After moderator Whoopi Goldberg and legal expert Sunny Hostin voiced concerns over what they cited as a lack of concrete policies from the candidates on the debate stage, Griffin — the only Republican seated at the Hot Topics table, as Ana Navarro sat this episode out — attempted to elaborate on how she felt about the politicians' stances.

"I don't agree with anyone on these trans issues. I genuinely think that, on this stage, I don't think they've ever had a friend who's transgender because there's a lack of sophistication and understanding in how they talk about it," said Griffin. "But we have to be able to have a battle of ideas. I think there's something better for this country than Donald Trump versus Joe Biden."

She went on to praise Haley's stances on energy and Ukraine. "You can disagree," she said, "but she offered substance, she had statistics." As she segued into her next point, however, the show's theme music began playing, causing her to look off camera and throw her hands up in frustration.

"Nevermind," she said as Joy Behar attempted to get her to finish her thought. "It's fine, I had a lot more to say."

Goldberg looked amused by Griffin's reaction to the music. "Unfortunately," she replied, "it's only an hour show, so we can't do that."

Though she didn't get to elaborate on The View, Griffin tweeted through Wednesday's debate with choice words for the candidates.

"I think @NikkiHaley won this debate as well as the last one. But I must warn: based on the math it looks increasingly unlikely any candidate can overcome Trump," Griffin tweeted after the debate, after claiming that "perhaps the *only* thing that brings the GOP together is the national pastime of dunking on Vivek Ramaswamy."
