KUANTAN: A 32-year-old angler has been found safe after he clung on to a sea beacon when his kayak capsized in the waters off Kuantan Port Consortium (KPC) near here yesterday (April 26).

The man was rescued by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) patrol boat and brought to the KPC jetty about 8.05pm.

Pahang MMEA director First Admiral Mazlan Mat Rejab said the angler had alerted the Gebeng fire station for assistance about 6.25pm.
