Apple to invest $100m in ID to tackle iPhone ban: gov’t

Apple is planning a US$100 million investment to establish a manufacturing plant in Indonesia, according to Indonesia’s government.
This proposal aims to address component localization requirements following a sales ban on the iPhone 16.
Indonesia requires smartphones sold in the country to have at least 40% of parts sourced locally.
