Ariana Grande was pictured laughing with Ethan Slater on the set of Wicked just weeks before sparking relationship rumours.

The 30-year-old singer and her 31-year-old co-star had been shooting scenes for the upcoming big screen adaptation of the hit musical, and photos have emerged from their time together on set.

In the snaps, which were taken less than eight weeks ago, the pair can be seen smiling and relaxed before stepping up to film a tender scene.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Thank U, Next hitmaker had apparently split from her husband, Dalton Gomez, after two years of marriage.

Since then, there have been rumours she is now dating her Tony Award-winning co-star, with whom she’s starring in Jon M Chu’s take on the West End favourite.

In the photos, Ethan – who is playing munchkin Boq – can be seen sporting a bright ensemble, with a deep blue suit with flashes of orange underneath.
