Artha India Ventures has secured 250 crore rupee (US$28.18 million) in the first close of its second fund, which targets a total corpus of 500 crore rupee (US$56.35 million) and a green-shoe option of 100 crore rupee (US$11.27 million).

The Mumbai-based venture capital firm plans to invest in 36 seed-stage startups in India, focusing on premium consumption, fintech infrastructure, applied AI, and deeptech.
