“The potential for Asia to be the dominant economic force in the next 50 years is there – but I think it will not come single-handedly. I think collaboration is the way forward. I hope there will be more collaboration in this ‘new Asia’,” he said during a special address at the Asia News Network Summit 2024: Future of Asia, yesterday where he shared his confidence in the capabilities of the region, especially Asean.
