A netizen shared her story about how her boyfriend cheated with a woman who is twice her age for sake of getting a rolex watch.

“I come from an average family drawing an average salary. Enough to eat and have some entertainment but probably not enough to go for expensive holidays nor can I afford branded goods.

I have a boyfriend(should call her ex-BF), Initially, he doesn’t mind our life was not filled with any luxury and said that my personality and upbringing is what attracted him.

However, just over a year into the relationship he started to change and started comparing with his friends. Saying that they are able to enjoy a good life because his friend’s gf is rich.

Which made me feel really bad and useless.

I have a friend who is 15 years older than me, let’s just say her name is “Jenny”. She comes from a rich family and sometimes would join me and my boyfriend for a drink or dinner.

How he was caught

A week ago was my BF’s birthday and I bought him a smartwatch which is something he always wanted.

I help set it up for him and he was happy with it. 2 days ago he was at my home and took off his watch and charge it in front of me where my computer is.

I was doing work on my computer while he was playing on his phone on the bed, the smartwatch lit up and I saw Jenny’s name and I was surprised. There was even a preview of the message saying: “Come my home tonight got u a rolex”.

I had 2 choices, explode and start questioning him or keep quiet till I can verify.

I choose the latter, I called Jenny and asked if she was free to come over to my house for a drink. She said that she has plans tonight and cannot make it. Then I asked my boyfriend if he was staying the night. He told me that “I am going home, my mother got cook dinner”.

My boyfriend left my home shortly after, I knew that my boyfriend will take the MRT because Jenny’s house is directly behind an MRT station, I took a cab to her place before my boyfriend reached and “camped” outside her unit near the staircase area.

Within a span of 10 minutes, My boyfriend appeared and Jenny open her door and gave my boyfriend a hug and a kiss when he arrived.

I stomped out and started questioning them!

My boyfriend claimed that it is a misunderstanding and started crying, Jenny looked down and could not speak anything and neither did he defend her actions.

My boyfriend then finally admitted and told me that he did it with him in exchange for branded stuff. I told him that is good enough of an answer for me and told him “goodbye”.

Just last night, a female friend of my now ex-BF contacted me and said that he found out that the Rolex were counterfeit and my ex has regretted his actions and wishes to meet me and hope that I can forgive him.

If he can give his body for a watch, he can do it again. Never will I trust that man again.

I lost a very good friend and lost my boyfriend. But I’m glad I got something in return, the truth of who they really are.”
