So the thing is, my boyfriend always doesn’t want to wear any form of protection and always conveniently “forgets” to pull out when he is about to finish or is finishing in me.

myself (female 19) and my boyfriend (male 24) have been together for 3 months.. and to keep it short… we get physically intimate almost every day & he hates wearing protection during it.

He reasoned that it was because it he feels closer to me (which i get) and it feels better for him, & i have been really lenient on it since i am on birth control

but i started to notice he almost takes advantage of the fact i’m not super “strict” on it..because he stopped trying to pull out

so i said something to him and he said he gets caught up in the moment and apologized and stopped doing it but now he’s doing it again..

not all the time but randomly and he says it’s not on purpose at all, he just is in the moment.. i genuinely can’t tell if he is lying to me or if this is a common thing others have dealt with?

i get scared bc i feel we’re testing the waters a bit too much and i don’t want to have a pregnancy scare but i also wanna keep him satisfied if that makes sense

I’m not excusing his behaviour but you will need to be consistent/strict if you don’t want him finishing inside. Have another talk with him, tell him you don’t want it happening at all and if he can’t pull out you’re going to ask him to use protection. It’s possible his dislike of it is greater and he’ll smarten up.

My wife got pregnant with our first kid while on Birth control. Since the day we met I always finished in her even when she’s in control she stays on me. We thought birth control would be enough. We love our kids and wouldn’t change it but be aware that if he’s doing this you can get pregnant.
