An individual dressed as a London Guard has been spotted multiple times in Singapore, most recently at a HDB void deck in Bukit Batok.

The iconic red uniform and tall, black hat of the London Guards are well-known around the world, typically found outside Buckingham Palace where they attract numerous tourists. However, residents of Bukit Batok were treated to a surprise sighting of a man in this uniform standing at attention in their neighborhood.

Ms. Pimpila Hoo, also known as @iampimpila on TikTok, shared a video of the man in uniform standing at an HDB block along Bukit Batok Avenue 5. The video shows the man standing still, dressed in the traditional London Guard uniform and maintaining the military posture of “chin up, chest out, shoulders back, stomach in.” Throughout the video, the man does not move or interact with passers-by.

Netizens said this was not the first time the man had been seen dressed as a London Guard in Singapore. Another commenter claimed to have spotted the man in uniform at Lavender MRT Station on Monday, March 18.
