BYD begins construction of EV plant in Cambodia

BYD has started building a passenger vehicle factory in Cambodia, according to a statement from the Chinese embassy.
The facility will be located in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone and will cover 120,000 square meters.
The plant is projected to produce up to 10,000 vehicles annually, with operations expected to begin by the end of 2025.
