The only roses Michelle Young is worrying about these days are in her bridal bouquet.

Indeed, her days of receiving or giving roses for love are long behind her, with the Bachelorette alum having tied the knot with Jack Leius in a beautiful, Minnesota-based ceremony June 7.

“It’s been a whirlwind of emotions and our cheeks may get stuck from smiling so big,” Michelle told People of the couple’s nuptials in an interview published June 12. "We knew regardless of how things turned out it would feel like an incredibly special day. So many fun moments and funny stories."

Michelle and Jack’s ceremony and reception took place in large, glass-walled atriums, allowing the surrounding woodland to prominently feature in the ambience. For the occasion, Michelle wore a strapless, custom-designed gown from Anne Bare while Jack opted for a classic black tuxedo from SuitShop.

On choosing her gown, Michelle revealed, “The timeless style is what really drew me in as well as the detail and care that is put in from the team while designing a custom dress. It was many months of meetings and flying to appointments but turned into one of the most special memories."

During the ceremony, the couple decided to play a game of rock paper scissors at the altar to determine who would read their vows first—the playful moment emblematic of all Jack appreciates about his now-wife, whom he began dating in 2023.

“My favorite thing about Michelle is the aura she brings,” the athletics company VP revealed. “She has this contagious smile and laugh and is just this magnetic person that people gravitate toward. I’ve loved watching how she navigates life with so much confidence.”

And it is all too easy for Michelle —who got engaged to contestant Nayte Olukoya during The Bachelorette in 2021, before calling it quits the following year—to return the compliment.

“Jack always sees the best in everyone and will go out of his way to help anyone,” the 32-year-old said. “I can open up to him about anything and also have fun with him doing absolutely anything. He’s truly my partner in crime."

The rest of the ceremony involved a family-style meal—Michelle sharing, “We felt like this would bring our two families together by sharing a meal”—and a dessert table absent a traditional wedding cake and instead laden with cheesecake, key lime pie, tiramisu and butterscotch panna cotta.

Ahead of their big day, Michelle and Jack revealed they “made a pact to stay side-by-side the entire evening.”

As Michelle explained, “We wanted our day to be very intentional. It’s easy to get caught up in the planning of it all and not transition into the moment so we made sure to plan small moments aside with each other.”
