There are bosses who treat their staff to the occasional meal, and then there are those who, well, give nothing at all.

And then there are bosses like Bai Lu, who basically spoil the market for everyone else.

Recently, a staff member shared on Weibo that members of the 31-year-old Chinese actress' team had each received a 1TB Glacier Blue iPhone 18 Pro Max from her.

A group photo showed Bai Lu posing with 12 employees, each holding up their new phone for a selfie.

Those who reportedly received the gifts included her assistants, bodyguards, drivers, official photographer, stunt double and other members of her team.

The 1TB model currently retails for 16,499 yuan (S$3,142), meaning Bai Lu would have spent around S$37K on the 12 phones alone.

And apparently, expensive gadgets aren't the only perks of working for her.

The staff member, who apparently has worked with Bai Lu for six years, claimed that “no one would dislike working with her” because she’s “always filled with positivity” and is “exceptionally nice to everyone around her.”

“[She] never stops feeding us and treating us to cups of milk tea, and will never forget to give us red packets during Chinese New Year,” the staff member added.

She also described Bai Lu as an “angel” and said she hopes to be able to keep working with the actress.

Honestly, we can see why.

So... hi boss, can I get an iPhone 18 too? It doesn’t even have to be a Pro Max (wink).
