Baia reintroduces chic to their rooftop bar with a new rotating lunch set featuring Cured Salmon Carpaccio, Truffle Cacio e Pepe & more
Check out this lunch hangout, Baia, right on the rooftop of Esplanade Mall. This is set to be your next go-to spot, especially if you work nearby or are catching a show at the theatre.

Smack dab between multiple office towers and just steps from Esplanade MRT, Baia is perfectly placed for mid-day meetups, casual client lunches, or a solo escape.
With clear views of the Singapore skyline, their rotating 3-Course Set Lunch (S$38 per pax, Mondays to Fridays) feels like a proper escape without straying far from the office.

Walking in, we were already souper excited. The space was stunning, with orange hues, warmly lit corners, and breezy coastal charm that instantly set the mood.

While browsing the menu, we noticed a generous number of gluten-free and vegan options, which I felt was a thoughtful touch for groups with dietary preferences to juggle.
We each got one lunch set, starting with the Creamy Mushroom Soup. It was very smooth, with a fresh, herby drizzle over top. The soup was creamy, though not sickeningly so — a light start to the meal.

For our other starter, we ordered the Cured Salmon Carpaccio.
The curing process gave the fish a firmer bite, which was a pleasant surprise given the way it was thinly sliced. The lemon and capers cut through with sharp, briny pops of flavour.

Moving on to mains, we had the Trofie Pasta with Truffle Cacio & Pepe and the Grilled Hokkaido Scallops with Whipped Pumpkin and Lobster Sauce.
The twisted shape of the trofie pasta made it perfect for catching all that cheesy, truffle-infused goodness. Each bite was rich and satisfying.
The Hokkaido scallops were nicely seared and cooked just right, pairing well with the sweet whipped pumpkin and luxe lobster sauce.
That said, the portion leaned on the smaller side (we definitely could’ve done with a couple more scallops). I would definitely get a heavier starter to compensate for the size of this main.

For dessert, we had the Poached Peaches with Chantilly Cream and Raspberry Coulis. The cream was light and paired well with the crunch of the freeze-dried raspberry garnish. However, remember to really dig up the peaches at the bottom for the perfect bite.
