Baidu’s Apollo unit has partnered with Chinese auto rental firm Car Inc. to launch an autonomous driving rental service.

The agreement was signed in Beijing on May 8. The service will allow users to reserve self-driving vehicles.

This service is aimed at the elderly, unlicensed drivers, international visitors, and people with disabilities.
