BandLab acquires US-based beat marketplace Airbit

BandLab, a music firm based in Singapore, has acquired Airbit, a US-headquartered beat marketplace. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Following the acquisition, Airbit CEO Wasim Khamlichi will step down after a transition period. BandLab will also retain Airbit’s current employees.
