KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd (Bank Rakyat) continues to enhance its technology infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, and operational processes to strengthen system resilience and safeguard customer information.

Earlier today, Bank Negara Malaysia imposed an Administrative Monetary Penalty (AMP) of RM1 million on Bank Rakyat for breaches involving cybersecurity and customer information protection on Jan 20, 2026.
