Former US President and First Lady, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, have seemingly kept it lowkey after the year of divorce rumors (including those random Jennifer Aniston ones sprinkled in too). And now, they’re living the lavish life, and insiders claim their latest secret outing shows how strong their marriage still is.

The pair were the latest couple to head to Italy for a getaway, specifically to Portofino, Italy, where they vacationed on Steven Spielberg’s $250 million superyacht.

“They needed this trip more than they thought they did, it [was] a really nice time to be able to lay low and be together,” an insider said to DailyMail. “Everyone was in great spirits….They are interested in being in the world together rather than apart, because the world they live in outside of everything is a s**t show in their eyes, politically speaking.”

So it seems they’re utilizing the time they have together, and have officially put those brekaup rumors to rest.

For those who don’t know, the former US President and First Lady met back in 1989 at the law firm Sidley Austin LLP, where Michellewas assigned as Barack’s mentor. Later that same year, they started dating and in 1992, they tied the knot. Then, Michelle and Barack welcomed two daughters through IVF named Malia Ann, born on July 4, 1998, and Natasha (better known as Sasha), born on June 10, 2001.
