This is the bizarre moment a hairdresser cut a woman’s hair with a butcher’s cleaver while she lies on the floor.

As he walked past a barbershop in Shanghai, China, on November 3, the owner of Instagram page @shanghaiobserved spotted an unusual sight.

Lying on the floor, the woman had her jet-black hair spread out above her head while her stylist sat just away from her.

Leaning over with the shiny blade, he chops down across the hair to take off a sizable chunk of her locks, before moving the cuttings away.
