What they have done during the Japanese occupation in 2WW has implanted deep resentment & hatred of those who lost their loved ones. Maybe our PM has forgotten the atrocities they have done to our older generations! How can you advise people to forgive & forget the past!

it's all right. let the Chinese voice their nationalism to distort the message SG PM gave and let this communist country hate SG. let this be a slap and felt by all in SG cabinet for not watching their tongues when they speak. The Chinese think they are smart but they are just a group of lowly educated fools who doesn't know the magnitude of the world.

During the Japanese occupation, Lawrence Wong family was lucky they escaped the Japanese torture camps also the women escaped been caught as comfort women. So he did not feel the pain and suffering. So he definitely can forgive and forget
