2 Jul - Following their success at the "Big Stage Alpha" competition, the newly-formed boy band Alpha is set to fly to South Korea to receive their training.

Ray-D, who is also the first runner-up of the competition, said that he is excited to find out that they will be training under the help of famous choreographer, Jay Kim.

"I have always been a fan of K-pop and I can't wait to go to South Korea to learn new dance routine from him," he enthused.

At the same time, the singer, real name Ariff Hilmy, stated that he would also like to improve on his singing through the intensive training.

"It's true that my strength is in dance and performance, so I indeed have to do more on my vocals. I know I have the potential to develop my singing. It just needs more honing," he added.

The group, which was formed through the Astro reality show "Big Stage Alpha", also includes Ariel, who won the competition, as well as Araff, Rizal, Daniel, Izat and Afiq Sky.
