The Kuala Lumpur Alternative Bookfest (KLAB), which opened yesterday atCentral Market in Kuala Lumpur, has turned the tourist hub into a book lover's paradise.

The four-day KLAB, which runs until this Sunday, focuses on the independent publishing scene. Over 60 local book publishers are taking part in this year's festival, featuring diverse programmes of story-telling and story-making (from 9am-8pm daily).
