Boon Keng residents have been advised to deter the entry of bats into their homes by putting up shiny objects by the window, or installing either a magnetic fly mesh or insect netting.
Minister for Manpower Josephine Teo said this in a Sep. 10 Facebook post addressing the issue of bats flying into Boon Keng flats.

this is how the bats and the bees die off in singapore and all hell to our eco system.... gloating about our clean and green country when our minister enabler their people how to deter our nature away... Joke of the Month!

don't hang anything and don't chase them away they are harmless let me share my experience think positive soo many houses in the block why must it fly particularly into your house I m staying in jurong about 8 months ago a bat flew into my house made a turn and flew out next day I strike 4d got 12k number 5224 can check it out

I believe bats dislike brightness so perhaps mirror would be another option ?? 🤔🤔
