A resort overflowing with British tourists has beaten out Brazil and Thailand to be named among the world's best tourist destinations.

The Spanish island of Menorca came 13th in National Geographic's 2024 Travel List.

Menorca has often been the third most popular Spanish sunspot with British travellers after Ibiza and Majorca, but now it appears to be coming out of the shade with those two nowhere to be seen on the highly regarded list.
