If you’re an avid runner or Disney fan, then you’ve probably seen the Brooks running collaboration with runDisney that was released earlier this year that essentially broke the internet — you know, the adorable Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse sneakers. And with the success of that collaboration, runDisney x Brooks have partnered again to create Halloween shoes and we have the scoop on this line inspired by no one other than the iconic DisneyVillains. 

Yes, you read that right. The Ghost 17 runDisney Halloween shoes feature the iconic colors of some of Disney’s most popular villains — think purple, neon green/yellow, blue and black inspired by Maleficent, Ursula and The Evil Queen. 

What Do The runDisney x Brooks Halloween Shoes Look Like?

The Ghost 17 runDisney Halloween shoes are glow-in-the-dark and feature soft nitrate-cushioning in the heel for a pillowy landing with each step and a breathable mesh upper that allows your feet to breathe with every mile. Not only do these shoes have a vibrant neon green sole, but this version features flex grooves to help with heel-to-toe flow for even smoother transitions while you run.

Two styles of this shoe will be available — purple/black/green and black/chameleon. The first has a purple outer, neon green laces (with Mickey Mouse icons), and a neon green sole and the other with a black outer, purple and black laces (with sucker icons inspired by Ursula) and a neon green sole. Also, inside the bottom of each shoe, you’ll find an image of a cauldron with Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend 2025 written to remember your time on the course if you participated.

Last but not least, the Disneyland logo can be found on the back of the shoes too. As an added bonus, the shoes come with themed race badges featuring Ursula, Cruella De Vil, Maleficient and Pain and Panic alongside the corresponding race distances. 

Where to Buy The runDisney x Brooks Halloween Shoes 

The Ghost 17 runDisney Halloween shoes are set to debut at the Halloween Half Marathon Expo at Disneyland on September 4th. While runners at the expo will have first dibs on the shoes IRL, they will be available for purchase online starting September 10th on the Brooksrunning.com runDisney landing page.

Similar to the previous launch, Brooks Run Club members will have an opportunity to shop the launch ahead of everyone else.
