JOHOR BARU: The parcels of land in Bukit Chagar are the most suitable site for the construction of the Rapid Transit System (RTS) station.

Former state public works, infrastructure and transportation committee chairman Mazlan Bujang said this was due to the location and size.

“The ownership of the land was transferred to the federal government following the completion of the Custom, Immigration and Quarantine Complex project.
