Bumble shares jump 40% after strong Q4 results

Bumble, the US dating-app operator, reported its shares jump more than 40% in early trading after it reported stronger-than-expected Q4 revenue and unveiled an AI-driven app redesign aimed at reengaging younger users.

The company said it is preparing to launch Bumble 2.0, which uses AI to enhance quick photo swipes with scrollable profiles made of short chapters about a user’s interests, lifestyle, and personality, and said it could experiment with a no-swipe experience in some markets.
