CIX is back once again, making their second power-packed comeback this year with their eighth mini album GO Chapter 1 : GO Together. The release of this album perfectly bookends the narratives from their HELLO and OK album series while opening a new chapter for the quartet.

GO Chapter 1 : GO Together dives deep into human nature, focusing on themes such as sin, salvation, and the core of love, all while presenting an underlying theme of mutual understanding and certainty. The tracklist beautifully weaves these themes together to create the amazing sonic tapestry that GO Chapter 1 : GO Together—capturing all the album's concepts.

The title track of the album '니가 궁금해 (WONDER YOU)' presents a refreshing music style as it blends various rhythms, instruments, and genres to capture the search for the wonders that satiate the thirst for the solution to life's problems, and complexities—capturing the curiosity of it all as it lingers on the horizon.

The music video visually translates this sentiment as it shows the quartet travelling through different universes like a cloud-filled paradise and a stunning landscape resembling Olympus. As they look for the desirable remedies in life—reaching their goal by climbing into the stars and galaxies.

Band leader BX expresses his sentiments behind the process of creating the album as he muses, "CIX is back with the eighth EP, GO Chapter 1 : GO Together! As we worked diligently on our new album, I’m very curious and excited to see our fans' reaction to our new songs and concept images. All members also worked out a lot to showcase a new charm that we’ve never shared as CIX before! I believe our fans will enjoy following our storyline as we launch a new album series. I hope you give lots of love and support for this album!”

The album opens with 'S.O.S,' an incredibly upbeat track that aims to be an oasis in an endless and torturous search for redemption. The third track 'UPSTANDER' reflects another side of the track 'Bystander' that was featured on the second mini-album, HELLO Chapter 2. Hello, Strange Place—touching on the importance of support and having a strong network of close friends and family to rely on and turn to in times of crisis.

'환상 속의 그대 IN YOUR DREAMS' acts as a flawless closing track for the album as a hard-hitting ballad representing a perpetual search for ideals expressed in surreal yet hauntingly dreamy moods.

BX played his part as he participated in writing for tracks '니가 궁금해 (WONDER YOU),' as well as lyrics for 'S.O.S' and 'UPSTANDER.'

CIX member, Hyunsuk, talks about the album's focus as he says, “For this album, we poured extra care into choreography. We received multiple samples and shared many ideas among ourselves, trying to find the best choreography for our performance. There was a lot of love and care throughout the preparation process. In addition, this album is deeply connected to our lore, so I think you’ll be able to enjoy it even more if you focus on every lyric and the music video. The release of this eighth EP GO Chapter 1 : GO Together solidifies the band's identity as one of the best names in the scene of rising K-pop boy bands as they continue to evolve with each new musical project.
