SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) will merge to better connect skills development with employment opportunities and career advancement. This will better support Singaporeans in pursuing lifelong learning throughout their careers.The SkillsFuture Level Up Programme (SFLP) will be enhanced with more options to reskill and upskill, including an expanded course catalogue with Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) full qualification courses. From April 2026, employer incentives for the ITE Work-Study Diploma programme will increase from $15,000 to $20,000 per trainee to encourage more companies to offer training opportunities for ITE graduates.Senior Minister of State for Education Dr Janil Puthucheary was speaking at the Committee of Supply Debates in Parliament on 3 March 2026.
