Canary Islands power cuts: La Palma hit by major outage

La Palma in the Canary Islands was hit by a major power outage just days after Spain and Portugal were plunged into darkness last month. Several areas on La Palma were affected, the local council said on X today (Thursday).
La Radio Canaria said the outage affected around 30,000 people on the island, popular with British tourists.
