PETALING JAYA: The heat is on goalkeeper Zaimi Mat Deris after a brutal 10-minute spell left Malaysia reeling in their 1-5 World Cup defeat to Germany on Saturday.

The 28-year-old Zaimi, handed the starting role for the Group B opener, conceded three goals in quick succession to Jakob Brilla, Christopher Ruhr and Justus Weigand in Wavre, Belgium.
