KUALA LUMPUR: The cash assistance program for B40 under the Finance Ministry has been rebranded as Rahmah Cash Contribution (Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah or STR) and will continue to be improved, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He said that the STR, previously known as Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia, has been brought forward to January from March this year and is expected to benefit 8.7 million in the B40 category.
