this is to caution and warn others to think twice before getting their SOS 10x tickets for $100.... the main concern is that the cinema may be closing down on all locations before you can even use the tickets...

The Cathays Cinplexes are getting fewer locally. Maybe it's not enough to cover the overhead cost and rental one of the reasons

JB is much cheaper and seats are good too. Depending which cinema you go to. Shows in Singapore is the same like Malaysia or even Thailand, so spend it on food better unless you plan to sit, relax or even sleep as tired so don’t mind paying the price also there’s aircon.

Close because the lease is too high. High because push by inflation. Building owners don't see the issue. What they see is dollars and cents. The best way is to close all the cinemas at one go and leave it empty. Then they will make them time twice.
