Catherine Zeta-Jones brought gothic energy to the 2025 Emmys red carpet that perfectly aligns with her Wednesday character.

The 55-year-old actress stepped out on the Emmys red carpet at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater in a waist-cinching Yara Shoemaker Couture gown from the designer’s fall/winter 2025 collection.

The black strapless gown featured a corseted bodice that was partially sheer, giving sultry energy. The gown included lace appliqué details and a floor-length beaded skirt. For makeup, Zeta-Jones radiated more seductive vibes with a brown lip and her signature black eyeliner. She wore her long, dark hair in a gorgeous middle part styled in simple waves.

Zeta-Jones attended solo, with husband Michael Douglas opting to sit this one out. However, inside the event she joined Wednesday co-star Jenna Ortega who plays her daughter, the show’s titular character, in the series.

This is the Welsh actress’ first time at the Emmys since 2019, when she attended with husband Michael Douglas in a hot-pink Georges Hobeika gown that featured an asymmetrical neckline and a thigh-high slit.
