9 Jul - Netizens are scratching their heads after Terence Yin suddenly went on a Weibo rant about partner, Raquel Xu, which prompted the Chinese actress to respond to the issue.

The whole hoopla sparked after the Hong Kong actor posted a series of Weibo rants saying that Raquel had asked him to post less about her on Weibo.

"You won't go store-hopping with me! You won't let me post about you on Weibo! You won't appear in my livestream! She said it's because she hopes more girls will like my films and shows... But what I truly want is for you to like both my work and me! Your love and support are all I need!" he expressed.

In another post, he wrote, "Why is it that expressing love for your partner normally on Weibo is considered clingy? Is the Internet only for posting personal promotions and official content? Where is the sincerity? Where is the purity? It's becoming meaningless."

In response to questions regarding Terence's posts, Raquel took to her own social media account and said that she just wants to focus on developing her own content rather than appear in his livestreams or be seen in his store-visiting videos.

"My content can include him, but I hope his content includes less of me because I want to save more of my time for personal growth, and I hope he does the same for himself. I'm not some over-the-top romantic heroine. I'm just an efficient, down-to-earth girl next door," she said.

Raquel also stated that that would be her only simple response and that she would like to move on from the topic.
