Showbiz may love a good rivalry, but don't expect one between Chantalle Ng and her BFF Tasha Low.

In a recent video shared by The Celebrity Agency, Chantalle and fellow Mediacorp actor Zhang Zetong, 33, took turns asking each other spicy questions.

The 31-year-old actress was inevitably asked about her BFF and Emerald Hill co-star Tasha, 32.

"Was there ever a moment you thought: 'Has Tasha surpassed me in showbiz?'" Zetong asked.

Chantalle's response? "Honestly, no."

She explained that while people in showbiz often pit artistes against one another, that competitive mindset simply doesn't exist between her and Tasha.

"I think the reason we became such good friends is that neither of us has that mentality," she mused, adding that they genuinely root for each other's success.

In fact, Chantalle now considers Tasha family.

"She's like family to me now. You wouldn't ask yourself: 'Why is my mum making more money than me?'" said Chantalle, who is the daughter of veteran Mediacorp actress Lin Meijiao.

And if one of them becomes wildly successful? Well, the other stands to benefit too.

"If you do well, that just means you can buy me a house in the future," she chuckled.

Now we just need to see who ends up buying that house.
