French start-up Mistral AI has launched its first AI-powered chatbot, Le Chat

Touted as a French alternative to ChatGPT, Le Chat is a multilingual assistant based on Mistral AI’s language models.

It can answer questions, summarise or translate articles, and even generate presentations.

However, Le Chat cannot currently retrieve up-to-date information from the Internet

Alongside Le Chat, Mistral AI also launched Le Chat Enterprise, a paid version targeting professionals.The company has partnered with Microsoft to be featured on its Azure AI platform. Users can sign up for beta testing here.
