China’s UBTech launches $41k life-size humanoid robot

UBTech Robotics, based in Shenzhen, has launched a life-size humanoid robot named Tien Kung Xingzhe for research applications.

The robot is priced at 299,000 yuan (approximately US$41,200) and is now available for pre-order, with deliveries expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025.

The Tien Kung Xingzhe stands 1.7 meters tall and is an upgraded version of the Tien Kung model released in April 2024.

Designed for enhanced strength and stability, the robot can integrate additional features, including lidars, Nvidia’s Jetson Orin computing kit, and five-fingered hands.
