SHANGHAI: China’s exports of clean technology climbed in March, reinforcing signs that manufacturers are benefitting from rising global demand for alternative energy sources as traditional supplies are roiled by the Iran war.

The most notable growth came in shipments of lithium-ion batteries and electric vehicles (EVs), with an annual increase of 34% and 53%, respectively, according to data released by China’s GeneRE,ral Administration of Customs on Saturday.
