Local actors Christopher Lee and Mark Lee will be starring together in the new Taiwanese film No Good! Ojisan.
In his social media posts yesterday (July 7), Taiwanese film director Bingo Chang revealed photos of the actors during a lensing ceremony held recently.
He wrote in the caption: "To be released in 2026! Please look forward to it!"
The movie, which also stars Taiwanese actor Hsu Hsiao-shun, centres around three middle-aged men who become influencers to chase after their dreams. Christopher plays a photographer who retired due to a back injury and can't stand Gen Z behaviour. He becomes an influencer to convey his ideas to them.
Mark's character is a small bookshop owner who dreams of becoming a film director and looking for his first love whom he has lost contact with. Hsiao-shun plays a retired pharmaceutical factory owner, who has no status at home and wants to fulfil his lifelong dream of becoming a singer.
Filming for No Good! Ojisan begun in late June, according to Bingo's social media posts.
Mark told Taiwanese media in reports published yesterday that when he heard he will be acting alongside Christopher and Hsiao-shun, he felt that the casting was successful.
The 56-year-old, who received a Golden Horse Best Actor nomination for local film Number 1 in 2020, said: "We are versatile actors. The director is very good at casting. By putting the three of us together, our chemistry will be tripled."
Christopher, 53, who was twice awarded Best Actor in a Television Series at the Golden Bell Awards and received the Special Achievement Award at Star Awards last Sunday, shared that the trio are able to get into their characters fully from their first day of filming and didn't need time to develop their chemistry.

Have not watch movies for years regardless of local casts or foreign casts . Thus names mentioned does not ring any bells at all and would not be looking forward to the release of this film too
