A resident is at his wits' end over his neighbour's incriminate dumping of rubbish at Block 37 Circuit Road.

Stomper Don shared photos taken on Dec 15, showing bulky furniture, empty plastic bottles, food waste, bags of trash and other rubbish discarded at the block's common spaces.

He said: "An inconsiderate neighbour has been dumping rubbish every day along the common corridor, near the lift lobby area.

"Despite many complaints to OneService, writing to the estate's Member of Parliament (MP), calling the National Environment Agency (NEA) and sending feedback with pictures via email, it's still no use.

"The town council keeps on clearing the rubbish but no action has been taken against the culprit, who is very inconsiderate.

"We have had enough of this nonsense, which we have been tolerating for years. Every day, we see rubbish when going to work and see rubbish again when coming back from work. Now it's even worse with rubbish being thrown outside every single day.

"We really cannot take it and want to share this on Stomp."

In response to a Stomp query, Marine Parade Town Council said it is aware of the ongoing issue.

"The town council has placed educational posters in the area to remind and encourage residents to keep the estate clean," a spokeswoman added.

"Additionally, to further deter littering, we have installed camera surveillance in this area to discourage such behaviour and identify those who may be responsible for such actions.

"Through the surveillance and feedback received, we have identified and engaged the unit involved and advised them accordingly.

"We have noticed some improvements and will continue to monitor the situation."

Marine Parade Town Council provides a free bulky item removal service (up to three movable items per month) for all HDB residents in Marine Parade GRC, Mountbatten and MacPherson SMCs.
