Claude models could ‘pollute’ defense supply chain: US official
Emil Michael, a Defense Department official, told CNBC the DOD designated Anthropic a supply chain risk because its Claude models embed policy preferences that could “pollute” the supply chain and affect equipment for warfighters.
Anthropic is a US AI startup known for the Claude family of large language models.
