Claudia Schiffer is getting us ready for summer with a jaw-dropping throwback pic.

On June 20, the Love Actually star shared a truly stunning throwback snapshot of herself. She shared the photo with the caption reading, “First day of summer!!🐬”

The throwback photo, which was from the Vogue UK July 1991 issue, shows Schiffer looking like an oceanic goddess. It’s an outtake from the Perfect Bliss editorial, and was taken by photographer Arthur Elgort. Over 30 years later, and we’re still obsessed with this summertime pic!

While posing in the cool blue ocean, we see her wowing in a sheer, sparkling Giorgio di Sant’Angelo piece that shows off her gorgeous curves. We also see her rocking 90s makeup, including the iconic frosted lipstick look, and wet hair, truly nailing the summertime vibes.

Truly, she looks like a mermaid here, and it’s giving us all the inspo for this summer!

In a recent interview with Country and Town House, she talked about the advice she’d give herself when she was a teenager; and it has everything to do with self-confidence.

“Enjoy every year as with experience comes confidence. Learn from your mistakes and constantly grow. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, no one is perfect, everyone is different, learn to love your imperfections as they make you who you are,” she said. “Just concentrate on being happy and healthy and the rest will follow.”
