A new statue found at the site of Cleopatra’s tomb is believed to have revealed the "true face" of the Egyptianqueen.

Expert archaeologistKathleen Martinez, who has been searching for the tomb for almost 20 years, discovered the marble artefact as part of an Egyptian-Dominican team carrying out excavations near Alexandria. In the latest discovery at Taposiris Magna, the statue of a woman adorned with a royal crown was uncovered among several other fascinating items at the ancient site on Egypt's northern coast.
