Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour has been very eventful.

Last week, lead singer Chris Martin made headlines after he forgot the lyrics to his own song during a Toronto show. This week, the band inadvertently exposed a high-profile affair during a show in Boston.

While performing at Gilette Stadium on Wednesday, the jumbotron began zooming in on audience members. Footage that has since gone viral on TikTok captures the moment when the cameras zeroed in on a man with his arms wrapped around a woman.

At first glance, it appears to be nothing more than a smitten couple enjoying the show. However, their hasty and mortified reaction suggested otherwise.

“Oh, look at these two,” Martin said to the crowd as the pair was broadcast on the screen. After realising they were on the jumbotron, the woman quickly covered her face and turned away. The man subsequently ducked down to avoid the camera.

“Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” Martin said jokingly in response. As it turns out, he was right on the money.

According to The New York Post, the pair was identified as Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer.

Byron is married to his wife Megan Kerrigan Byron, per Page Six. The outlet reported that she has since deleted her social media accounts after the footage went viral.

Meanwhile, Cabot lists “Thornby” as a second surname on her LinkedIn profile, suggesting that she is or was married. However, her current marital status remains unclear.

Cabot started working at Astronomer seven months ago. In a post announcing the news, she even namedropped Byron, who joined the company as CEO in 2023. “I have been energised in my conversations with Andy Byron and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here," she wrote.

Astronomer, a software company based in Cincinnati, has an office in Boston, which is likely where Byron and Cabot work together. – Tribune News Service
