Since 2021, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Shopee Singapore have been working hand-in-hand in the fight against scams. Previous efforts included SPF working with Shopee to leverage its logistics and delivery network to distribute anti-scam pamphlets together with Shopee deliveries. As a result, over 200,000 pamphlets were delivered to online shoppers when they received their Shopee orders. This year, Shopee Singapore and SPF have deepened their collaboration and brought the fight against scams into the digital retail space.
