Comedian Sarah Kendall reveals female passenger came to her aid after drunk men harassed her on train

Comedian Sarah Kendall has spoken out about her experience of being harassed on a train, recalling that a female passenger came to her aid.

The Taskmaster star wrote on Twitter: ‘3 drunk men just got on the train, one of them pushed his mate onto me and then started touching my hair.

‘A woman came and sat next to me and asked if I knew them. She put herself at risk for me and I thanked her when we got off the train. This is what we still live with.’

Friends and fans have sent supportive messages, with Sue Perkins writing: ‘I hope you are ok lovely x.’

Sarah pointed out: ‘Thanks mate I’m fine just tired of what we have to put up with xx.’

Many have sadly resonated with Sarah’s experience, with fans also describing incidents of being harassed on public transport.
