The "No Kings" rallies that took place across the US on Saturday to protest Trump administration policies were mainly peaceful save for some isolated incidents, reports USA Today. One of the bigger exceptions came in Culpepper, Virginia, where police say a man deliberately drove his SUV through a crowd of demonstrators as the protest was winding down, reports Axios. No injuries were reported, though police say at least one person was struck by the vehicle.
Police identified the driver as Joseph R. Checklick Jr., 21, of Culpepper in a news release posted on social media.
"Based on the preliminary investigation, it was determined that Checklick Jr intentionally accelerated his vehicle into the dispersing crowd, striking at least one person with his vehicle," says the Culpepper police statement. The person struck was not identified.
Checklick was being held without bond on charges of reckless driving.
One person was critically injured in a shooting at the "No Kings" protest in Salt Lake City.
(The protests coincided with a large parade in DC celebrating the nation's military and President Trump's birthday.)

Senseless and stupidity acts won't be tolerated There's absolutely no reasoning whatsoever for things like this to be happening. Never ever dare to do anything evil no matter how trivial you think it is.
